#NOTACRIME CAMPAIGN
Seeking asylum is #notacrime.
It’s a fundamental right.
Driving a boat is #notacrime.
It’s a life-saving measure.
Solidarity is #notacrime.
It is our duty.
Join us.
Fuel the fight for justice.
In Greece, migration and solidarity have been turned into crimes — a deliberate and shameful tactic to deter those seeking safety. People fleeing war and persecution are not met with protection but prosecution. Harsh policies are systemically attacking — and eroding, the right to seek asylum.
Meanwhile globally, the system is giving signs of collapse on every front — environmental, political, social. And while the need for resistance and justice is growing by the minute, funding is disappearing.
Can we keep going — and growing — in this hostile climate?
Like many independent frontline organizations, HRLP is being hit hard by this funding and values crisis. Resources have been pulled significantly, leaving us — and those we support — in a state of uncertainty.
We’ve adapted fast, stretched every resource, and held firm to what matters most: our commitment to human dignity, legal justice, and solidarity.
Still, after a year of hard battles and quiet wins, we’re at a critical crossroads, and we believe we can make it with you on our side.
Your support isn’t just helpful — it’s critical
As a small, grassroots organization working at the edge of Europe, regular donor contributions — no matter how small — are a lifeline.
With just 5, 10, or 20 euros a month, you can:
-
Cover court fees
-
Enable travel for lawyers and witnesses
-
Provide essential language interpretation
We are small, but our fight is big. Every person we support has a story, and supporting our work you can contribute to a change of its course for the better.
This is more than legal support.
It’s resistance against injustice.
It’s solidarity in action.
It’s holding power accountable.
In solidarity,
The HRLP Team
